http://web.uvic.ca/padmThe School of Public Administration, founded in 1974, offers an innovative and diverse array of programs for current and prospective practitioners in the public and non-profit sectors. With a campus-based Masters of Public Administration (MPA) for full-time students, the MPA-Online for part-time learners, and the Bachelor of Laws/Masters of Public Administration, students have a range of options from which to choose. The School of Public Administration also offers Diplomas in Public Sector and Local Government Management, Professional Specialization Certificates, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration.
The School’s research and professional development arm, the Centre for Public Sector Studies (CPSS), is particularly active; Public Sector Development, the Local Government Institute, Voluntary Sector Initiatives, and the Performance Management Forum all fall under its umbrella.
The School also offers tailored professional development programs for practitioners.
